Allergies and dietary notes for the kitchen
1 min readUpdated Aug 23, 2026
The seating chart’s allergy list prints the kitchen summary first, dietary counts per table for your caterer, then the seat maps.
Every guest can carry dietary restrictions and a free-text note.
The printable seating chart’s Allergy list starts with a kitchen summary: counts per restriction, per table. The caterer gets one sheet instead of a phone call during service.
With a written menu, meals are counted too: under each table on the Tables page and on the sheets, with the room’s totals and a line for guests with no table yet. Infants eat from a parent’s plate and aren’t counted.
"Check these meals" lists each guest whose plate clashes with what they told you: the dish they chose, or one everyone is served, like a nut tart for dessert. It reads the dietary marks on your menu, and a line under it says what was checked, so an empty list never means "all clear." A note that names an allergen without asking to avoid it ("eats fish") reads "Note mentions fish," not as an allergy. Always confirm with the kitchen.
