Guests & RSVP
Get everyone on the list, then let them answer for themselves.
Import your spreadsheetOpen Guests, choose Import and drop your CSV or Excel file. Column names work in English or French, and nothing is saved until you check the list.1 min readIn this stage
- No spreadsheet? Paste a listPaste a list from a chat, a note or an email into “Or paste anything” on the Guests import. You check the guests before anything is saved.
- I fixed my spreadsheet. Will importing it again double everyone? No. Names already on your list are updated, new ones are added, and the review shows which is which before you confirm.
- Nicknames and aliasesAn alias is another name a guest might type: “Liz” for Elizabeth, a maiden name. Open the guest and add it under Aliases.
- Plus-ones, couples and familiesGive every person their own entry, even “Guest of Sarah Smith”. Link a plus-one to their host, and keep a family together with a party group.
- Turn on RSVPs: deadline and mealsTurn on RSVPs, set a deadline and add your meals, or let your menu ask. Guests find their name and answer for their whole party.
- Send the RSVP linkPublish your website, then press “Send the link” on the RSVP page: one bilingual email per party, with your note. One tick skips parties that answered.
- Who hasn’t answered: nudges and remindersThe Missing tab lists every party still waiting. “Nudge all” resends the link, once a day at most. Reminders go out 7 days and 1 day before the deadline.
- Answers by phone, and requests to be addedOn the Missing tab, “Answered by phone” records an answer you took by call. People who ask to be added wait under Requests until you accept or decline.
- Dietary needs and meal choicesGuests give dietary needs in the RSVP, or you add them on Guests. They reach the kitchen summary, and meal choices export with the RSVP history.
