Set up your event
Create the event, give it a look, and build the website guests open before the day.
Set up an event in five stepsCreate the event, add your guests, name your tables, seat everyone, then print the QR. Only the guest list and the tables are essential.1 min readIn this stage
- Your event type, and what it sets up for youThe kind of event you pick sets a theme suite, a website look, the sections switched on and the main RSVP event’s name. Change any of it later.
- Colors, fonts and the greetingPick a theme suite in Settings and the live preview shows what guests see. The greeting is the first line on their seat card.
- Build your website: sections, order and SaveOpen Website, switch on the sections you want, put them in order and press Save. Nothing changes for guests until you do.
- Looks and motion, and the envelopeFour looks, all free, set the website’s lettering and layout. Motion decides how the page arrives, including the envelope guests open with a tap.
- Publish your website and choose its addressYour website stays a draft until you publish it. Give it an address in the editor, press Save, then switch on Publish.
- Writing in one languageSet Written in to English or Français, and every field asks for one text. What you write is shown to every guest.
- Plan together: invite a co-hostUnder Team on the Overview, invite a co-host by email as an Editor or a Viewer, then send them the link yourself.
- Type your menuOpen Menu, add your courses and dishes once, in your languages, and press Save. Guests read it on their seat card, on any phone.
- Pick a template: Card or ListCard is centred and framed, like a printed menu card. List is left-aligned, like a restaurant menu. Both take your theme’s colours and lettering.
- Dietary marks on your menuMarks put V, VG, GF or DF after a dish, and spell out allergens like nuts or shellfish, with a key in each guest’s language. You add every mark.
- “Your choice”: the meal question from your menuTurn on “Guests choose one” for a course, and “Ask in the RSVP” makes it the meal question. Each guest’s card then marks their dish “Your choice”.
- Paste your caterer’s menuPress “Paste your menu” and paste the text. The AI reading takes its place when ready, unless you’ve already made a choice: then it waits.
